$500 scholarships are available to students who are interested in pursuing a career in
instrumental music, and who fit the following criteria:
⇒ Each recipient must be a senior
at Armijo, Fairfield, Rodriguez, or Vanden
High School who wishes to pursue a
career of teaching or playing instrumental
music.
⇒ Scholarship funds are to be used
for financial assistance.
⇒ This scholarship is open to men
and women, regardless of race, creed, or
national origin,
in accordance with equal opportunity laws.
⇒ Eligible candidates will be both
musically and academically talented.
⇒ Each scholarship recipient will
be enrolled at a four-year university, with

Scholarship application timeline:
- April 1, 2010: All application materials must be received by this date.
- April 9, 2010: Finalists will be notified by this date.
- April 14, 2010:
Interviews for Finalists - 5:00 to 7:00 PM,
Solano Community College - April 23, 2010: Scholarship recipient(s) notified by this date.
- April 30, 2010:
Scholarship Award presentation during Solano Winds Concert
8:00 PM, Fairfield Center for Creative Art
and Director Emeritus, The University of California Band, Berkeley.
